The Sales Order Specialist works to drive insulin pump and consumable sales while focusing on the customer, including people with diabetes, family members, and health care professionals. S/he will process orders placed by patients and ensure clean claims submissions by collecting and ensuring the accuracy of all documents for both pump and consumable orders.
In addition, the Sales Order Specialist will submit documents to insurance for pre-authorizations, finalize and setup delivery for pump and consumable orders, process Financial Assistance and Payment Plan requests as necessary, collect patient co-insurance during order finalization, while providing an exceptional customer experience through efficient order processing and phone skills.
QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of Sales experience is required. Inside Sales experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to work with teams and individuals is also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office business applications is required. Experience working with insurance and/or processing is preferred.
This position is located in Wayne, PA and may require up to 10% domestic travel.
