The OpportunityOur portfolio of Long Acting Therapies (LATs) antipsychotics, INVEGA SUSTENNA and RISPERDAL CONSTA are market leaders in the injectable segment. Importantly, the portfolio is delivering on the promise to revolutionize therapy and care for patients living with schizophrenia and their caregivers, offering significant health economic and patient quality of life benefits.
Janssen Inc. is looking to hire a Regional Business Manager who will play a leadership role in SHAPING and DELIVERING strategy, in Ontario, that will transform care for patients living with schizophrenia. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to LEAD aspects of strategy related to this marketplace within the province.
Position OverviewAs the Regional Business Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for delivering on revenue projections through the development and implementation of customer/account/region specific strategies aligned with franchise strategic plans. The Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing through a high caliber and experienced sales team. The position is ON based.
Other specific responsibilities will include:Promoting a team environment of engagement, Credo leadership, inclusion and employee development, differentiating Janssen workplace as a competitive advantage.
Accountability for talent through active and responsible leadership in the areas of recruiting, developing, advancing and retaining talent with a focus on continuing to accelerate diversity to drive collaboration and innovation.
Working closely with franchise business partners (Marketing, Clinical Communications, Government and Community Affairs) to implement strategies.
Monitoring trends, managing relationships and developing engagement strategies with key customersQualificationsUniversity degree (science or business related; MBA an asset)At least 5 years diverse healthcare-related industry experience; pharmaceutical experience preferred; previous marketing experience required; Experience in the psychiatry therapeutic area an assetAbility to lead, develop, coach, and engage high-performing teams. People management experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated track record of successful business growth through collaboration and innovationDemonstration of strong commercial acumen and foundational marketing application requiredSuccess leading change in ambiguity and uncertainty, with demonstrated resilience in the face of challengesStrong communication skills, including highly technical concepts and diverse audiences at all levelsValid driver's license; meets J&J fleet safety requirementsMust be willing and able to travel across the Region, estimated 30% travelThis RBM position is considered flow-through and requires demonstrated interest and ability to move to positions of increased responsibility in the future.
