We have a newly created role for a Quality Engineer who will provide technical Quality Engineering leadership to the business in order to ensure the highest levels of product quality, process, and systems integrity to the customer.
Part of the role will include supporting the Value Streams and assisting with CAPAs and related Validation activities.
Main responsibilities may include:
- Supporting FMEA processes
- Dealing with all related Quality/NC/Process Validation issues
- Leading activities such as quality improvement initiatives , root cause analysis, problem solving and defect reduction initiatives
- Training others in quality systems, tools and objectives
- Works with business partners to ensure customer needs are met.
- Works to ensure design controls are implemented within new product teamsWhat you’re great at:You will lead the investigation for performance issues and monitor corrective action. You will have a desire to develop the analysis routines whilst having a close eye on continuous improvement opportunitiesThrough product analysis, data mining and the development of product insights that will offer opportunities to further improve product quality and process enhancements.
As a Quality Engineer, your typical day may includeWorking with colleagues from across all areas of the business from Quality, Manufacturing, Laboratory and Research and Development. You will build excellent relationships, whilst maintaining the highest standards and providing Quality leadership to your business partners. Your workload will be wide and varied and will challenge you professionally.
What you’ll own and how you’ll grow:You will become the subject matter expert in key quality sub-systems that will govern a lean, efficient product analysis operation.
QualificationsBE VITAL:To be part of this performing team ideally you will be degree qualified within a technical discipline teamed with Quality Acumen. You will have strong Quality systems knowledge and awareness and familiar with risk management tools such as FMEA;SRA;DOE.You will be a strong individual who can assert themselves in the right manner for effective and cross-functional business relationshipsIdeally you will have experience in a Medical Devices organization.
