The Professional Sales Representative
- Neutrogena is responsible for achieving sales goals and implementing company approved programs within Long Island, Brooklyn, and Queens. This is accomplished by providing company approved information and services to all classes of accounts such as physicians and residency programs.
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following: daily sales call activity to healthcare professionals and residency programs. This includes effective sales calls to targeted physicians and residency programs based on sales call continuum daily business planning, targeting high potential customers, sampling physicians to increase sales based on their potential, and identifying, planning, and executing lunches and other educational programs to maximize sales. Demonstrate effective usage of selling skills, building relationships with high volume dermatologists by adapting an approach based on the customer's behavioral style, consistently selling the core sales strategy for each promoted product to create demand, converting the features of company products to physician and patient benefits, uncovering hidden customer objection and effectively overcoming them, and focusing on gaining each customers’ commitment to proposed action. After each call, review for effectiveness, establish the objective for the next call, and record this information in Veeva via the iPad on the appropriate physician account profile to establish call continuum. Learn and utilize Neutrogena and competitive product knowledge in various business environments. Demonstrate effective use of only company-approved proof sources and visuals. Complete training programs designed to increase Neutrogena and competitive product knowledge. Demonstrate applied use of product and competitive knowledge. Maintain continual knowledge of current reprints, visual aids and promotional materials and effectively use them in selling situations.

QualificationsIn order to be considered eligible for this position, a four-year college degree (BS/BA) is required. Knowledge of Neutrogena products, policies, procedures, and sales strategies is strongly preferred. At least one year of sales experience is required. The ability to maintain a professional image is required. The ability to maintain a storage facility for company samples and supplies is required. Candidates with the ability to provide previous sales results, demonstrate planning and organization skills and execution of sales strategy are highly desirable. Candidates are required to live in Long Island, Brooklyn, or Queens. As business dictates, work additional and flexible hours beyond 40-hour work week for work and travel on nights and weekends (i.e., conventions, meetings, etc.) is required. A valid driver's license issued within the U.S. and a clean driving record are required. The ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel, is required. Physical requirements of this position include the ability to lift and transport samples, literature, AV equipment and miscellaneous items (30-50 lbs.).BE VITAL in your career.
