Plant Systems Engineer CDMP-CDPP-00000ZKWDescriptionFor our Janssen PDMS Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) organization in Beerse-Geel, Belgium we are currently recruiting for a:Plant Systems Engineer CDMP-CDPPKeywords: People Coach, System Expert, IntegratorSummary of Position:The Chemical Development Mini Plant and Pilot Plant (CDMP-CDPP) in Beerse and Geel fulfill a critical function in the Clinical Supply Chain for the upscaling and production of intermediates and final small molecule API’s. If the volume of the product stays small it can be commercially launched from the CDPP. The CDMP which is highly integrated in API Development operates in a day-shift regime and the CDPP which is highly integrated in the JSC organization operates in a 24/7 shift regime.
The Plant Systems Engineer is leading :
- The Cleaning Experts
- The Recipe Writers (MES, PASX)
- The Production Integrators (Scheduling, Raw Materials, Logistics)These functions allow on time introduction/production of clinical and commercial production in the CDMP and CDPP and on time shipment/release of product and samples in accordance with the current quality and safety standards.
The Plant Systems Engineer builds up the required expertise in these systems and represents the CDMP/CDPP in improvement and new system implementation projects. He is also the driving force to improve productivity, flexibility and data analysis to improve process understanding. The Plant Systems Engineer is also working in close cooperation with departments which have an important role in the daily operations of the plant:
- GTS
- Execution Systems
- IT
- Planning
- Warehouse/Distribution
- Quality Assurance
- JSC Cleaning EngineersResponsibilities & Duties :
- The Plant Systems Engineer is responsible for the plant systems related to planning, ordering, recipes writing, logistics and equipment cleaning to allow on time introduction/production.
- As team leader you are responsible for people and organization development and play a key role in hiring, assessment, development. You ensure an engaged team is in place which can cover the demand.
- You ensure awareness of your team in the areas of Safety and Quality.
- You build-up the required expertise in the different systems and act as spokesperson to improve and implement new systems.
- You support data integration and data analysis projects..
- To be successful, you assure optimal alignment with groups like JSC-production, Quality, Environment, Global Technical Operations, IT, Execution Systems.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent by experience.
- At least 5 years working experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Chemical industry.
- Strong interest in clinical supply chain and related production/data systems.
- As people leader you create an engaged team with focus on on-time delivery.
- Good communicator, able to build a network and create win-win solutions
- Quality mindset and compliance orientation with a clear understanding of requirements..
- Challenge the status quo.
- Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written); fluency in English is strongly recommended.
