The purpose of the Global Performance Management Specialist role is to support consistency and transparency across regions through a cohesive performance management strategy and robust governance. The Performance Management Specialist will enable delivery of benchmark strategy and transparency through a holistic performance management framework and scorecard, applicable at various levels of the EFM organization and relevant to internal and external stakeholders.
Key relationships include collaboration with regional leadership and other COE teams to manage operational and performance-related nuances among different geographies to ensure successful implementation and management of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze metrics to inform overall strategy and performance, including budget to actuals accuracy; customer feedback regarding transition / change efficiency; performance of projects / initiatives relative to cost, time, business impact; effectiveness of continuous improvement activities and performance metrics; and IT platform effectiveness and level of self-service utilization
- Establish performance metrics and drive strategy for performance management
- Collaborate with regional leads to manage regional / sector nuances
- Enable COEs with data-driven analytics and technologies
- Analyze operational and financial data to create performance reports that include trend analyses, status of major initiatives, escalating issues, and potential solutions
- Support performance standards and promote compliance and enforcement
- Inform budgeting process and budget roll-ups from the regions
- Coordinate with regional leads and internal team on cost-benefit analyses for transformational initiatives/programs
- Coordinate with internal/external partners for benchmarking analyses; foster an environment of continuous improvement
- Assist in the development of operations budgets, forecasts, and unit-cost models for EFM, as neededQualificationsQualifications
- Education:o Bachelor's degree or equivalent is requiredo Focused degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline is preferred
- Experience:o Minimum of 8 – 10 years of related experience is requiredo Experience in facility management, financial management, OR performance management is requiredo Familiarity within the facilities environment is preferred
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:o Global experience is preferredo Familiarity with Facilities Management related tools, technologies, and data management conceptso Strong analytical skills and experience manipulating data sets (e.g., in Microsoft Excel)o Strong business acumen and relationship building skills are requiredo Ability to effectively partner and deliver results in a matrixed environment is requiredo Ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations to facilities management is requiredo Excellent written and verbal communication skills are preferredo Strong project management skills, proven organization, coordination and action tracking skills are requiredo Ability to function effectively and multitask when presented with tight deadlines is requiredo PMP certification preferred; Six Sigma Black Belt preferredOther RequirementsLocation of Role: Primary Location North America-United States-New Jersey-New Brunswick.
