Job SummaryPackaging Operators contribute to the McNeil team while operating solid and liquid dosage packaging equipment. This function also includes line set up and assembly, operating material handling equipment, cleaning and sanitation of all related equipment and work areas. Packaging Operators are committed to continuous quality improvement involving the identification and implementation of process improvements.
The individual will be required to monitor equipment functions, troubleshoot and correct minor equipment issues.
This role requires compliance with all departmental safety and hygiene policies including following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), wearing respiratory protection, approved eye protection, approved footwear and use of all required protective equipment.
QualificationsEducation & Experience:High School Diploma or GED equivalency is requiredAbility to lift up to 50lbs and maneuvering of equipment is requiredStrong computer literacy is requiredExperience with SAP is preferred2-4 years of Packaging Operator experience in a regulated environmentExperience working in a Pharmaceutical/OTC and/or GMP environment is preferredProven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with limited supervisionElectrical or Millwright tickets would be considered an assetHow to ApplyPlease email your resume to ************@*******.** and indicate “Packaging Operator” in the subject line.
