To learn more visit http://www.onetouch.com/.The National Account Manager will support the National Account Director Team Lead in the Payer Team POD to which they are assigned. The National Account Manager is accountable for the implementation and execution of sales strategies set with and by the Team Lead for their POD and for the accounts that roll up under them to achieve optimal access, market share and volume growth . The National Account Manager will collaborate with the Team Lead, other National Payer Team members and Payer Directors to discuss operational business plans, pull-through implementation, Payer issues, and trends. The National Account Manager will also collaborate with sales teams to strategize and execute pull-through. The National Account Manager will serve as an expert for the business group they are a part of for all teams and key stakeholders. In addition, the National Account Manager will cultivate and maintain deep and broad strategic relationships with customers by providing appropriate, value-added programs that support the Team's strategic plan and drives increased sales. The National Account Manager will partner effectively with cross-functional departments including Finance, Contracting, Marketing and Sales. Furthermore, the National Account Manager will leverages analytics, marketplace, competitor and clinical expertise to position JJDSC favorably within assigned accounts in order to maximize business results. The National Account Manager will develop knowledge of all current products, therapeutic, and marketplace trends, and uses information to drive strategic goal attainment. The National Account Manager will also be accountable for achieving short and long-term sales objectives that are aligned with company goals.
The National Account Manager will be responsible for implementing and flawlessly executing business plans and pull through for the Team they are accountable, aligning all strategies to Payer Development Strategies and Objective. The National Account Manager will support the Team Lead in analyzing business to understand best opportunities and potential risks. In addition, the National Account Manager will align business plan to best meet/exceed total Team, customer and Company goals, and will identify and align resources to deliver against business plan. The National Account Manager will support the Team Lead in creating KAM team member objectives and goals that align with total team strategies. The National Account Manager will additionally monitor progress and conduct periodic business reviews with customers, as well as internal stakeholders and regional/district teams.
In addition, the National Account Manager will drive sales in assigned accounts to achieve targeted revenue, volume and share goals for the JJDSC. The National Account Manger will develop and maintain relationships, establish new touch-points with Payor customers, as well as internal business partners and stakeholders to drive business plan goals. The National Account Manager will support National Account Directors, assisting in contract strategy and negotiations, analyzing customer data and trends. The National Account Manager will develop and drive implementation plans to achieve maximum growth potential. The National Account Manager will additionally find and develop new business opportunities within National and Regional divisions. The National Account Manager will create value for customers beyond price, correlating to high customer satisfaction and strong account growth and retention. In addition, the National Account Manager will communicate and collaborate with Payer Directors and Professional Sales teams to maximize territory level pull through with Commercial Payers. The National Account Manager will execute National POD Team business plans through ongoing communications with sales team, focusing on highest value opportunities. The National Account Manager will track sales results and revise plans / strategies accordingly. The National Account Manager will also become the "expert" as the POD National Account Manager, assisting sales teams on how to utilize tools and key messaging to maximize pull through. The National Account Manager will effectively communicate sales direction / pull through strategies to regional sales teams. Lastly, the National Account Manager will lead special projects that drive new ideas and strategies for long term Managed Markets growth.

QualificationsAn Undergraduate Bachelors Degree is required (MBA preferred). Minimum of 2+years Payer/Channel experience or people management experience is required. Account Management and/or Diabetes Care Franchise experience is preferred. Market Knowledge, strong business acumen, collaboration and teaming, analytics and problem solving, negotiation and strong selling skills, contract management, account strategy development and implementation, and product knowledge are preferred. The ability to travel up to 40%-50% is required.
