The Marketing Solutions Director is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and solutions at key strategic customers. These initiatives will synergize with field Account Director plans and in totality, ensure access and reimbursement of Janssen products. The position will focus on solutions that meet customer needs and result in Janssen being viewed as a partner in reducing costs, improving quality, and enhancing the patient experience. The Director will leverage appropriate SCG, Janssen, and Johnson & Johnson resources to support execution of tailored business solutions that incorporate legal, regulatory and health care compliance perspectives. He/she will work in strong partnership with key internal business partners to ensure successful integration and adoption of the programs to strategic customers. The role will collaborate with Strategic Customer Group (SCG) account leadership and field personnel, as well as the Enterprise Customer Group, Health & Wellness, Medical, Real World Evidence, HECOR, Quality and the Brand on TA specific solutions. The incumbent needs to be visionary but bring things to fruition, create positive pressure to create solutions, raise awareness and give direction. Solutions created will be 70% common across customers and 30% custom.
This individual will incorporate knowledge of the changing landscape including new payment and delivery models, quality initiatives, marketplace dynamics and competitive activity, analytic capabilities, and therapeutic area understanding in the development of the strategy and resulting solutions. In addition, he/she will develop and utilize strategic insights, including voice of customer (VOC) to determine appropriate programs and tools, and will be responsible for driving SCG enterprise thinking and providing insights back to the organization to support understanding of customer needs and value proposition development.
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred. 8 or more years of healthcare industry experience required. Experience in and/or knowledge of managed markets required. Account management, payer and/or /brand marketing or other commercial experience preferred. Experience leading project teams and people with or without direct authority required.
