The Manager, US Digital Marketing is responsible for defining the US digital marketing strategy, as well as leading the development and execution of digital marketing plans for JJVC and the ACUVUE® master brand in the US region. This individual will drive value for JJVC by increasing and accelerating digital activation for the ACUVUE® Brand in the US Market. The digital marketing manager will lead the creation and implementation of marketing efforts for the master brand in the following areas: social media, web content, mobile, digital media, video, web analytics, and SEO/M. This individual will work cross-functionally to help develop and execute promotions, content, advertising and contact strategies and to drive new customers, conversations, advocates and loyalists to ACUVUE®. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of both strategic and tactical thinking. This is a complex assignment with exposure to cross-functional teams and agency partners. It calls for an individual with strong communication skills, analytic skills and creative thinking ability and a strong passion for all things digital.
Key Responsibilities include: Leading US paid, owned, and earned digital footprint, including digital, social, search and live event tactics (inclusive of professional convention strategy) for the ACUVUE® master brand in collaboration with Global Strategic Marketing; Act as voice of the ACUVUE® Brand to cultivate, engage and grow social communities on key platforms; execute digital marketing campaigns with excellence in collaboration with Brand Marketing, Customer Strategy, Sales, agency partners, legal, and Customer Care; In close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Customer Strategy (and content development teams), execute ACUVUE® US digital marketing programs. Establish and determine key objectives for digital marketing campaigns; ensure campaigns are properly planned and completed in a timely fashion; Develop social media strategies, programs, and content for the ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses Portfolio on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, Google+, Pinterest, Snapchat, tumblr and Instagram; Maintaining best-in-class customer experiences across JJVC’s US websites. Ensure best practices are followed in user centered design when working to enhance add new features; Establish key objectives for US website improvements; continually improve online experience by understanding visitor and buyer behavior and exceeding customer expectations; Oversee updates to taxonomy, features and functionality to improve the user experience – Contributes to online content by testing and implementing improved web usability, page flow, navigation and content to support the overall objective of increasing visitors’ conversion rates; Champions consumer-centric as well as Eye Care Professional (ECP) focused digital best practices in appropriate digital & social media platforms, mobile apps, as well as our own website and professional sites; In collaboration with US Marketing, Customer Strategy teams and agency partners, lead frequent internal and external evaluations of digital programs to ensure optimal customer experience, including regular competitive analysis of direct competitors and relevant non-competitors; Act as Online Subject Matter Expert within Digital Marketing space providing best practice leadership and direction. Provide POVs on existing and emerging digital marketing tactics and technologies channels to help evaluate digital marketing opportunities.
Additional responsibilities of the Manager, U.S Digital Marketing include: Support the total Marketing Strategy for the ACUVUE® Sub Brands (MOIST®, OASYS®, etc.) as the digital subject matter expert; Serve as a key driver and influencer of new digital ideas, programs and offerings within the US; Provide guidance in the development of concepts, strategies, planning, implementation and coordination for digital marketing activities as part of annual business planning; Assist with selecting vendors and managing vendor relationships; develop, document and maintain procedures to expedite working with vendor partners. Maintain superior relationships with JJVC’s customer partners at all levels within the organization; Leverage data and insight from customer analytics to make data-driven changes to form actionable insights which accelerate growth and improvements in overall programs; monitor the success over time; Develop KPIs, share insights and provide guidance to the US team regarding digital trends; Help to establish processes and practices for the development of content and digital marketing tactics focused on driving JJVC initiatives; Participate as a key leader within the total digital ecosystem at JJVC; Connects across Global marketplaces share best practices and key learnings.
QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of five years’ relevant business experience including a minimum of 3 years’ experience leading digital marketing for a CPG/Healthcare organization or Digital/PR/Media Agency is required. Fluency in integrated marketing communications and the role digital plays in the consumer experience and cross-channel marketing mix is required. Hands-on experience managing digital activities including SEM, social, display campaigns, mobile, video, and e-CRM is required. Proficiency with digital content creation within paid, owned, earned properties is required. Successful candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of the digital ecosystem and how e-commerce, web, mobile, social, search and channels work together to optimize behavior, acquisition and sales.
Familiarity with audience segmentation, testing protocols and direct experience with digital analytics including: creating KPIs, optimization techniques and the ability to translate into actionable business ideas and familiarity with vendor management and oversight is required. All candidates must have an excellent ability to communicate and lead vendor teams.
Additional requirements for The Manager, U.S Digital Marketing role include: A passion for understanding the consumer mindset and keeping up with media and technology trends; Knowledge of digital marketing technologies; The Ability to clearly articulate and present campaign results to team members and management; Experience managing a P&L for a digital business with an understanding of financials and budget management; desire to work at both the strategic and tactical levels with proven success at developing integrated digital businesses from strategy through execution with a passion for digital marketing; Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize work and balance a portfolio of programs.

This position will be located in Jacksonville, FL and may require up to 25% travel.
