This position is responsible for executing the portfolio of HR work in the US in support of business goals, enterprise and sector HR strategies. This position actively manages competing business and HR priorities.
The Manager, Human Resources will implement HR strategy, programs and policies for DePuy Synthes. The individual will deploy annual HR plan aligned with the HR, business, collaborate with HR partners to define cultural, engagement and change initiatives and implementation plans, and gather feedback & input from the business on needs and effectiveness of deployed plans. They will ensure compliance with employment/labor relations regulations in country/country cluster, develop workforce plans, as well as deploy talent strategy in partnership with stakeholders to grow diverse leadership talent.
The incumbent will actively manage competing business and HR priorities, implement cadence and rhythm for HR processes without variability, create cultural discipline to ensure global deployment of core processes and program across all DePuy Synthes, and continuously gather feedback and share insights on HR program design to improve effectiveness. The Manager will connect to Center of Experts and Shared Services resources/ capabilities to implement strategy, and deliver on the portfolio of HR work for all employees in Org. Effectiveness; Talent; Culture.
The industry is primed for business model disruption – future success depends on successfully meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders. Industry consolidation likely & could entail the combination of larger & mid-tier competitors or even the roll-up of numerous smaller competitors into larger entities. Growth will be achieved by innovating solutions that deliver improved clinical & economic value to patient, physician, provider, payer & policy maker supported by appropriate evidence & service. There is also an intensifying regulatory environment to deal with.
QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required. It is preferred to have experience leading an organization/company organizational design within one or more sectors. Experience with multi-function, high level recruiting for senior level positions is required. It is preferred that this candidate has experience with developing compensation strategy & understands compensation as a performance lever. Experience with Change Management is required. Experience coaching others in addressing Employee Relations issues is required. Previous HR experience is required. Health-care industry experience is preferred. Approximately 25% travel is required.
