It comprises of multiple Franchises (Strategic business units) providing healthcare solutions across Vision Care, Orthopaedics, Infection Prevention, Wound Management, Women’s health, Minimally invasive surgery, Circulatory disease management, and Blood glucose monitoring and insulin delivery.

- Strategy & Market Development, IndiaRole Overview:The position will be responsible for driving various initiatives from strategy and market development perspective
- Driving strategic projects to explore new opportunities for growth – alliances/ partnerships/ licensing
- Driving digital strategy for Medical devices India – initiatives to be taken at corporate level to increase the level of digital penetration and adoption both from internal and external stakeholder perspective
- Leading pricing function for overall corporate which will include new product pricing as well as existing product pricing
- Leading Market research in terms of customers and competitors and possible play of J&J medical.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:Market development:
- Drive alliances/ partnership and licensing
- Based on customer and business insights, market research, and internal business priorities identify projects that would drive growth for the organization
- For these market development projects, lead market research and customer insights, evaluate strategic fit of partner organizations
- Partner with internal functional teams (sales/marketing, finance, legal, compliance, regulatory, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality) and external partners to finalize contract and go-live with project
- These projects will be mainly focused on improving J&J’s footprint and distribution into new segments.
Digital Strategy:
- Digital is quickly changing the ecosystem for all industries and so is the case for Medical device
- Individual to identify trends in digital and select few digital initiatives at corporate level
- Drive the adoption and launch of these initiatives
- Define and measure metrics for the Digital initiativesBusiness Intelligence:
- Identify areas of deep dives and do robust analytical reviews of same (e.g. competition, cost, business performance etc)New Product launches
- Review performance of new product launches and identify products that could be launched in India
- Identify drivers which will help business improve performance of new products in IndiaSelf Development:
- Good knowledge of product & market related areas; abreast of current developments and trends within advanced analytics and allied functions.
QualificationsQualifications:
- Masters in strategy/ marketing/ finance etc – from top MBA institute in the country
- Good analytical skills and understanding of market
