- Balloon Sinuplasty™ devices. Through the Balloon Sinuplasty™ technology and our Relieva® product portfolio we offer ENT patients another option to conventional endoscopic surgical technologies. FDA clearances for these devices were completed in 2005 and the products were commercially launched in the US that same year.
Through our core technologies and commitment to innovation, Acclarent will continue to advance novel devices in all areas of ENT.Acclarent, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Sourcing and Innovation Manager for our Irvine, California facility for the delivery of contemporary best practice Sourcing support for New Product Development (NPD) and the delivery of results. Work with a fully integrated best in class Advanced Sourcing program, for New Product Sourcing Selection, and to provide overall coordination, facilitation and enablement of tools that will drive best practice NPD sourcing. Leverage MD&D’s position in Direct Material categories. Participate in supplier enabled innovation (SEI) activities to identify innovation opportunities. Participate in discussions with strategic sourcing team, category procurement, NPD/ research and development organizations, franchise operations, and external suppliers and manufacturers. Recommend suppliers and manufacturers for new product launches. Facilitate meetings and visits with suppliers.
QualificationsQualified applicants will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in a medical devices field. Must have experience working in a Food and Drug Administration (FDA), International Organization for Standardization (IOS), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulatory environment. Experience must include supplier selection for medical device manufacturers. Project management experience is required. ERP experience, specifically SAP is also required. Must have experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence and completed Green Belt certification or training. Up to 20% international and domestic travel is required.
