CLS is responsible for cross-sector warehousing, distribution and transportation while staying focused on customer serviceRole Overview:This role is responsible supporting the W&D Managers in supervising the operations across the J&J India network. This includes the functional processes of receipting and storage of incoming material and picking, packing, invoicing & distribution of material as well as Order Management if done at DCsIllustrative ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations:
- Manage day to day escalations/exceptions CFA operations for J&J India for the designated zone
- Ensure adequate systems and processes are implemented at CFAs via SOPs and governance mechanisms
- Manage & track CFA KPIs
- CFA wise Dashboards
- Ensuring statutory and regulatory complaince in the region
- including DLs, FSSAI, Wholesale/Retail are renewed on time without effecting the day to day working of the depots
- Regular analysis of SLOB, Market returns etc ; handle disposal/destruction of rejected material
- Track and monitor insurance claims related to transportation damagesQuality Management & EHS at Warehouses:
- Implementation of applicable quality SOPs at the CFAs
- Support periodic audits at CFAs
- Audit action plan tracking & timely closure at CFAs
- Execution of EHS&S plans and remediations across CFAsTransportation (Secondary):
- Work with CFAs and transporters to organise transportation of finished products to customers
- Contract management for transporters & periodic performance reviews
- Monitor lead time adherence for transporters and handling escalations etcOther Activities:
- Act as a source of industry knowledge and best practices in warehousing & distribution for region
- Identification of new CFA/sites/transporters/other vendors in the region as per business requirementQualificationsMinimum requirementsTo be successful, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required
- 4-6 years related experience in warehousing & transportation, preferably with Pharm/FMCG industries
- MBA preferred
- Experience using SAP (preferred) or other ERP statistical software packages
- Analytical capabilities
- Big picture orientation with attention to details
- Effectively manages and adapts to change.
- Good communication
