The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for implementing and executing Biosense Webster’s commercial strategies at key accounts and is accountable to achieve the sales goals in the assigned territory by delivering market share and market share growth, as well as other key metrics. The KAM is responsible to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with physicians, hospital, EP laboratory staff, and key opinion leaders in order to grow and develop business.
The KAM indirectly leads a team (pod) including Clinical Account Specialists (CAS’s) and partners with Field Service Engineers (FSE’s) to ensure alignment and coordination in meeting business objectives. The KAM is responsible to manage all aspects of the customer group, which include members of large hospital systems/IDN and teaching institutions. The KAM influences clinical and non-clinical stakeholders within assigned account base to support the use of all BWI products. The KAM approaches each customer from a total account management perspective, by leveraging resources appropriately, collaborating with internal and external partners, including stakeholders such as HCPs, Administrators, C-Suite, Quality, Case Management, and other emerging influencers.

QualificationsTo be considered for this role, the candidates must meet the following criteria: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field required. Advanced degree (e.g., M.B.A.) strongly preferred. 7-10 years of related work experience in Sales, Product Marketing, Education and/or Sales/Customer Training is required. Experience in strategic planning, needs assessment, and cost benefit analysis required. Experience in Medical Devices is strongly preferred. Experience in Education, Training and/or Learning Design strongly preferred. Experience in managing large account system contracts is preferred.
This position will require international and domestic travel up to 30% of time (travel can vary depending on geography). Occasional weekend travel will be required.
