JUAREZ PLANT CONTROLLER-00000Z23DescriptionSearching the best talent for: JUAREZ PLANT CONTROLLERGeneral Job Description:The Global Surgery Supply Chain Organization is recruiting for a Plant Controller responsible for the Endomech and Energy manufacturing plants in Juarez, MX and the packaging & sterilization plant in Albuquerque, NM. As a key member of the plant leadership team this position will be responsible for managing financial performance and internal controls for the sites, providing business partner support to the appropriate areas of responsibility and developing finance talent across the sites. The position will be band 31 based in El Paso, TX or Juarez, MX.The Endomech and Energy plants support the $4.2 B revenue legacy Ethicon Endo Surgery business and are part of the One Ethicon franchise, sharing the commitment to advance surgical care through innovation, so more patients live longer, more fulfilling lives.
Main responsibilitiesThe Plant Controller will help develop and drive both the short-and long-term strategies for legacy Ethicon Endo manufacturing facilities. The position will have significant project responsibilities, including cost improvement initiatives, capital investment decisions, and asset reconfiguration activities. The position will also be responsible for designing and implementing improved reporting that provide operations partners with actionable information. The controller will need to partner with the commercial and R&D groups to analyze new product cost estimates and perform internal/external benchmarking as required. This leader should also:
- Oversee all aspects of cost accounting and compliance for Juarez and Albuquerque manufacturing for Endomech/Energy to include budgeting, volume forecasting, standard cost development and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- Oversee all aspects of Capital Appropriation analysis, approval and reporting for Endomech/Energy franchise. Will include analysis for all capital acquisitions in accordance with J&J WWP and US GAAP including understanding of impact to investments on cash flow.
- Conduct Balance sheet accounting, Inventory Controls, Headcount reporting and US Customs impact.
- Be a member of Juarez Finance Leadership team and represent Endomech/Energy Finance in Global Surgery Finance Supply Chain reviews. Have daily direct interactions with Plant Managers, Director Technical Operations, Director LEAN and multiple Quality and Juarez associates.
- Manage and develop four direct reports as delivering results through others will be a required skill.
Reporting to: FINANCE DIRECTORCalificacionesEDUCATION AND JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in accounting or finance and prior leadership experience. MBA/CMA/CPA preferred.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling and cost accounting knowledge preferred.
- Proven ability to influence key stakeholders and challenge the status quo while operating with an enterprise mindset
- Proven track record of influencing/leading peers and business partners and interacting with Sr. Management
- Strong communication, project management, presentation and framing skills
- Ability to make independent decisions and manage simultaneous deadlines
