Will consider position based in Raritan, NJ or Horsham, PA with regular travel to Titusville and other sites.

The Integrated Evidence Generation Planning (IEGP) Strategic Leader is a newly created, individual contributor role that reports to the Team Leader, Real World Evidence (RWE) and is responsible for leading the Integrated Evidence Generation Planning (IEGP) process for North America (NA) Pharm gaining further alignment on the goals and outputs of the process as well as refining the process as needed to optimize its value to the organization.
The recently introduced IEGP framework allows for strategic evidence generation planning to enhance the value proposition for prioritized stakeholders through a formal, forward-looking, “outside-in” approach. This role requires the individual to effectively work in a matrix environment partnering closely with leads for Value Excellence and the Integrated Evidence Teams (IETs) to ensure brand strategies are closely aligned with evidence generation and value dissemination.
IEGP Strategic Leader will represent RWE on assigned cross-functional franchise teams with internal partners such as Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Medical Affairs, R&D, Commercial Excellence, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Information, IT and various global functions to identify/share best practices regarding evidence generation and communication planning.
Key responsibilities include:Working with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve IEGP processes with a focus on flexibility, harmonization and user-friendliness.
Coordinating IEGP efforts across functional IETs within NA Pharm.
Partnering with R&D and global / regional colleagues on IEGPs.
Training on the existing IEGP process and updates.
QualificationsA minimum of a Master’s Degree required; MS/MPH/Healthcare Administration is preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of total industry experience required.5 years of related experience (i.e., R&D, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Publications, Project Management, Healthcare, etc.) required.
Demonstrated experience in research design and methods required.
Familiarity with evidence generation functions within Life Sciences organizations required.
Working knowledge of United States healthcare system and customers perspectives required; specifically understanding traditional and new delivery and reimbursement models.
Exposure to interventional, explanatory research methods to meet both commercial and scientific objectives for a given product /asset desired.
Exposure to RWE research methods to meet both commercial and scientific objectives for a given product/asset desired.
Understanding of the use of evidence to inform decision-making for individuals and populations desired.
Working knowledge of regulatory and commercial compliance issues relating to conducting research and disseminating of scientific information desired.
Understanding of the peer-reviewed publication process desired.
Demonstrated leadership with indirect reporting relationships/ability to effectively influence without direct authority highly desired.
Experience effectively working in a matrix environment required.
Excellent skills in collaboration, influencing and communication (both written and presentation) required.
Creative and innovative thinker.
Must be willing able to travel across campuses (Raritan, Titusville, Horsham) for meetings, etc.
