- Midlands-1500047422WDescription12 month contract with a view to going permanentPart-time role: 25 hours per week (3 days – flexible on days)Role: Insulin Pump Trainer (non-sales)Job Purpose
- To provide training and in-servicing of Animas Insulin Pumps and ancillaries to relevant HCP’s and patients within a secondary care setting. The role is 100% training.
- To provide support to the Animas Territory Managers in places where they have identified training needs.
- Increase Animas’s market share in line with company expectations utilizing the services and support from across the company in accordance with the Credo.
Main responsibilities
- Work within Pump Trainer and J&J Operating Standards
- Consult with NSM on performance vs. Pump Training Operating Standards & Development Opportunities
- Facilitate communication & execute Animas Strategy in line with your Territory Manager
- Seek & develop projects to enhance delivery of holistic diabetes care within territory
- Training of patients and HCPs as identified by the relevant territory manager
- Maintain up to date understanding of local diabetes market characteristics and business drivers
- As appropriate support your Territory Manager with their training needs
- Understand & Align specific Territory Activities
- Foster a mutually beneficial working relationship with all Territory Managers
- Maintain a good up to date knowledge of Diabetes and the changes going on
- Be aware of all changes in the NHS and how they may affect IPT
- As appropriate, be prepared to demonstrate Animas pumps to HCPs and patients alike to help them make an informed decision as to whether to choose an Animas productQualificationsEducation, Skills and Experience required:
- Life sciences / Business degree or relevant professional qualification preferred
- Nursing background essential
- Diabetes knowledge preferred
- Understanding and experience of working within the Primary, Secondary and Pharmacy channels.
- Proven track record of success within the healthcare environment
