A potential candidate would possess the following: Strong SQL skills, strong Microsoft excel skills (including ability to create macros or equivalent), knowledge of SQL developer or similar, and a knowledge of Microsoft access or similar. The Computer science co-op would be responsible for updating metrics as well as automation and consolidation of metrics through the use of programs using SQL and potentially writing Microsoft excels macros.
QualificationsEnrollment (not necessarily taking classes) in an accredited college/university during all Co-op rotations is required. Actively pursuing at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is required. Completion of at least freshman year of undergraduate academic program is required. Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op rotations is required. Availability to work a minimum of three alternating semester co-op rotations is preferred (i.e. Spring 2015, Fall 2015, and Summer 2016; Summer 2015, Spring 2016, and Fall 2016; or Fall 2015, Summer 2016, and Spring 2017). A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 (based on 4.0 scale) is preferred. Demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs and/or community service activities is preferred.
The position is located in Cornelia, Georgia. Ability to commute to/from this work location is required. A stipend will be offered to students that meet the commuting distance eligibility requirements. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.
