The Education Logistics Associate assists with maintaining equipment for sales demos, displays/exhibits, professional education, company meetings, cadaver labs, sales training and workshops. The Associate will support product requests, prepare portable display properties (tablecloths, roll-up graphics, posters) and inspect upon return, handle distribution, shipping, and provide onsite support as needed.
The Education Logistics Associate will interface with Marketing, Sales and Meeting Services for demo and display requirements. Additionally, Associate will handle inventory counts and provide updates in software system. Daily activities will include but are not limited to the following; maintain consistency of set contents, pick and pack daily orders for shipment, prepare paperwork for international shipments to include carrier required documents as well as customs required documents, identify and report needed repairs, replacements and refurbishments, receive and store workshop/demo and display material, etch new education material as required, and prepare and executes no-charge house orders for replenishments with charges directed to appropriate department. Occasional travel to on-site assignments for set-up and/or tear down, as well as supportive tasks will be completed by The Associate for successful execution of business objectives. The Education Logistics Associate will interact with all department filing records, both electronic and other media and report returned shipment shortages to Senior Material Handlers or Supervisor. Coordination with Supervisor on the most efficient workflow process to ensure 100% processing of all workshop/demo and display requests is expected. This position reports to The Supervisor of The Education Logistics Department.
QualificationsA minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must have prior experience working with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word. Basic math skills and strong communication skills are a must. Prior warehouse/distribution experience is required. Candidates must work well in a team environment and have strong attention to detail. Prior experience demonstrating a mechanical aptitude is strongly preferred. Occasional travel and heavy lifting are required. Candidates must be willing and able to work in Colorado Springs, CO as this position is located in Colorado Springs, CO and is not eligible for relocation. This position has a shift time of 8:00am to 4:30pm.
