Director, J&J Operating System COE-7381150903DescriptionThe role is directly responsible for the JJOS program Leadership of a cross functional team across the E2E supply Chain. As the leader of this effort they with build and update the JJOS strategy and business case, aligning across with key stakeholders to define and deliver clear outcomes and value. The JJOS Lead will be responsible for executing the Global Design, Architecture and methodology for the JJOS against the defined strategy. This individual will work with the JJPS team to link the E2E value of the JJOS model with JJPS. They will lead the development of the deployment strategy as well as the development and maintenance of the business case and the benefits tracking model for JJOSThis role will ensure that balanced metrics are identified to measure value delivery for functions and the E2E Supply Chain including outside / In measures that reflect value delivery to our customers. This individual will also provide technical expertise and coaching on the tools, practices, standards and process to JJOS resources, leaders, and other members of the COE as required. They with also be accountable for the creation of Standard Work for the JJOS (i.e. Playbooks, Diagnostic, Training Material, Deployment methodology) by the collective team.
This leader will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.
Supply Chain: Functional Leads across Plan, Source, Deliver, PM, Quality. Value Chain Management and JJPS COE, Stakeholders including Sector and Functional VPs, Sector Make & Quality Platform/Cluster VPs, Finance, S&D and Product Supply Leaders. External: External Consultants & Benchmark Companies.
JJOS Strategy and business case development. Lead the development & deployment of the JJOS Playbook, Diagnostic and Training Curricula as well as drive the structured continuous improvement of all aspects of the JJOS. Lead Design, Development, and Deployment of JJOS. Collect Best Practices and Benchmarks (internal & external). Technical SME for JJOS Architecture, Deployment and Training. Shape and Develop Organizational capabilities to build and sustain JJOS. On-going coaching & mentoring to support JJ0S deployment. Identification of talent and development opportunities and needs. Stakeholder management – Engage and Align with leaders on business needs, solutions, and value.
QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Advanced degree is preferred.10+ years of related experience in Supply Chain (Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver). Line Management experience in Supply Chain, Quality, Organization & People Development is preferred. Experience in Operations Excellence/Lean/6-Sigma is required. Lean, 6-Sigma, Continuous Improvement, experience required. Strong understanding of financial, operating and business factors relating to Supply Chain. Strong understanding of Change Management and the ability to develop leaders into Change Agents. Strong partnering and understanding of Supply Chain, relevant product and process knowledge and how manufacturing capabilities drive E2E Supply Chain Performance. Ability to manage and drive a high performance organization and to develop future supply chain leaders. Experience and understanding of both Knowledge & Competency Management. Demonstrated ability to lead & get things done through influence versus line responsibility. Ability to train and coach plant team and change agents as required.
