He/she will work closely with Global Marketing Services functions; GMS Extended leadership team; Global Franchise Leads and Region/Market leads to manage, coordinate and support the integration of GMS plans, priorities and programs. Working with the Head of MX and MS Operations, he/she will frame and enable decision making at the operations and business levels ensuring effective and timely communication of GMS Global strategies, priorities and programs across the 1 GMS organization and Key stakeholders worldwide. - , this position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing and leading the operational strategy for the Global Marketing Services (1GMS) organization comprised of 6 critical organizations – Global Strategic Insights, Professional Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Excellence, Global Analytics and Integrated Marketing Communications. Coordinating detailed planning, timelines and tracking for the Global Marketing Services Marketing Organization worldwide; Reporting of progress against project milestones & KPIs. Providing insight / input on alignment of key Global, Regional or Local Country stakeholders. Effectively managing routines to keep work on track and to identify issues early enough to course correct, if needed; Financial tracking of progress against commitments (both savings and spending), supported with simple progress dashboards; keeping senior management informed of progress and issues. Generating, integrating and translating insights and analytics into strategic directions for MS Operations that help shape decisions and drive organizational action. In conjunction with the Head of 1GMS Operations, craft and lead the Communication development and implementation of the 1GMS communication plan which will involve preparation of communication materials, event coordination and /or presenting during key stakeholder meetings.
QualificationsA bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in Marketing or Business Administration strongly preferred. 8+ years of Project Management experience with an understanding of marketing and agencies processes or a combination of project management and progressive marketing experience is required. Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience as well as Global experience is preferred. Demonstrated track record of managing highly visible, detail oriented projects is required. Demonstrated success of collaboration and interface with critical internal and external stakeholders (Agencies) is required. Broad business acumen
- highly strategic business knowledge with ability to appropriately use judgment and risk-taking is required. Experience in collaborating across Global, Region, Local teams is required. Demonstrated ability to operate in fast/changing market place in highly complex environment is mandatory. Must be action oriented driving immediate responses to challenges. Strategic business partnership: cross-functional leadership, business acumen & understanding of organizational dynamics, influencing skills, objectivity. General Management/ Consulting experience a plus. Approximately ~35% intra-company travel within New Jersey and New York sites required. Approximately ~15% travel required.
