Position Title: Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Centre of Excellence (DCOE) EMEALocation: Maidenhead, UKTravel: Some domestic and international travel involvedClosing Date: 14th August 2015Position Summary:Reporting to the Director of DCOE EMEA, the key roles & responsibilities are:
- Digital council communications & model governance1. Support core & extended council meeting plan2. Organise calendar of comms (case studies, DCOE & EMEA council process developments & new tools/ guidelines) for RFLT, regional surgeries, newsletter input, portal content3. Ensure effective content with country marketing leads & digital council leads via regular connection, understanding & support4. Execute & deploy all comms touchpoints including playbook leverage; support & integrate with DCOE global plan5. Member of all chapters (web analytics, web development, Google & MEC councils) to join the dots
- Drive social capabilities in the region1. SME and owner for key EMEA enablers for EMEA eg. SML roadmap, Bazaar Voice winning approach2. Deliver partnership expertise to the region eg. Facebook how-tos, content calendars & development best practice, community mgt model; Blogger, influencer & EPR activation etc3. Develop new guidelines & toolkits where required4. Develop & deliver knowledge on interplay with mobility
- Lead search implementation across region1. Business lead for rebooted consistent efficiency approach to SEM, ensuring standardization across clusters & agencies2. Partner with selected agency (MEC) to oversee process, outcomes, optimization3. Integrate with Web Analytics Chapter (WAC) to achieved improved KPIs across all in-scope markets & brands (impression share etc)
- Support EMEA RFLT digital brand strategies1. Support RFLT digital leads in scaling initiatives to the region2. Support connections planning process as digital lead where RFLT member cannotDeliver key digital workstreams where requiredQualificationsEducation and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience of working in digital marketing for an FMCG, healthcare or media company is essential
- Deep understanding of integrated marketing experience and the role digital plays in the marketing mix.
- Comprehensive understanding of the digital ecosystem and how web, mobile, social, search and e-commerce channels work together to optimize behavior, acquisition and sales.
- Familiarity with segmentation, analytics and a general comfort with numbers; direct experience with web measurement/analytics a plus.
- A passion for understanding the consumer mindset and keeping up with media and technology trends; Familiarity with and hands-on use of all digital media platforms & channels is an asset.
- The ability to clearly articulate and present insight-based strategies, recommendations and results to team members and management is required.
- Able to be an individual contributor, willing and eager to work in a hands-on capacity is required. A leader and team-builder with a passion for working with creative people is mandatory.
- The ability to collaborate successfully and build relationships with internal teams, suppliers and agencies is required.
- Exceptional writing, communication/presentation and influence skills are also required.
