The Digital Asset Management Administrator is responsible for leading the implementation and systems integration of the Digital Asset Management System. This person will assist in the overall design and development, which ensures that work is delivered according to technical standards. They are responsible for the conversion of business requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for solutions being created.
Responsible for system-wide software and hardware maintenance of the DePuy Synthes Digital Asset Management System. Develop and implement digital asset management database schemas, metadata schemas, and project workflows; Collaborate with business users and project managers to define technical requirements; Work with Computer Systems Validation to ensure the system complies with all processes, procedures and validation documentation; Develop and document application standards that will be used as a benchmark to measure the efficiency of systems; Manage vendors and implementation partners as they relate to the Digital Asset Management System; Manage and conduct training including the creation of training materials and documentation for the DePuy Synthes Media Asset Management System; Develop and maintain system reporting as needed; Keeps informed of latest Digital Asset Management technology trends and innovations; Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times; Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.
QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in IT, Communications, or related fields is preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in Digital Asset Management or related systems is required. Proficiency in one or more of the following is required: digital asset management systems, web content management, document management, rich media file formats, and server-side functionality. Exceptional organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects prioritize work with competing deadlines and ability to adapt to change is required. Knowledge of Software Testing and Implementation preferred. Experience with both Windows and Macintosh computer platforms are preferred. Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle is preferred. Experience in managing validated systems and validation processes is preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required. Be able to interface with all levels of management and a wide spectrum of support personnel is required. Ability to remotely manage projects globally is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
