The Area will be responsible for the following states: TX, OK, NM, AZ, CO, UT, WY and LA.The CVM Field Trainer’s primary responsibility is to develop the field sales representatives across Retail, CVI and DST on increasing their selling skills, product knowledge, account management capability, technical and clinical proficiency through training and coaching activities that result in increased performance and business results. Under the direction of the Sr. Training Manager this position enables development of one’s leadership skills through the assignment of various activities and projects. The key outcome of the CVM Field Trainer role is to enhance the proficiency of sales representatives and specialists across their geographic area, while actively delivering coaching and training to support the Region/District Manager’s accountability. The CVM Field Trainer identifies training gaps across the Region, and then collaborates with Sales Learning & Development to seek out resources to address identified gaps and/or to develop approved training interventions. The CVM Field Trainer discusses coaching plans and written feedback with Training Manager & District Managers, prior to delivering these to the representative / specialist, to ensure alignment and continuity.
QualificationsTo be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of a BS/BA degree is required. 4 years of Pharmaceutical sales experience is required. Institutional and anti coagulation experience is required. Current enrollment or completion of a J&J Management Development Program (MDP) is required. An expertise in healthcare industry sales of local area and high level planning and organizing and businessplanning is preferred.
