Copy Clearance Specialist-00000ZDRDescriptionLifeScan is a division of Cilag GmbH International; both companies belong to Johnson & Johnson family of companies. LifeScan is engaged in the manufacturing, global distribution and marketing of blood glucose monitoring systems for diabetic patients with markets spanning across Europe, Middle East and Africa, Canada, USA, Asia Pacific and Latin America to create a world without limits for people with diabetes. In order to meet market needs, LifeScan has centralized its logistics structures, distribution and finance processes.
Copy Clearance SpecialistRole Profile: Manage the timely and efficient submission and approval of promotional projects created by LFS WW Marketing and local Marketing teams. This includes ensuring that these projects are processed, routed and stored in accordance with all relevant requirements and regulations.
Key responsibilitiesCopy Clearance Process
- Manage the routing, processing and storage of promotional content submissions to ensure quality and cycle time goals are met (focus: EMEA local content; provide support with global content review as needed)
- Review submitted copy packages prior to distribution to reviewers to confirm that the necessary documentation is available
- Assist Originators in both local as well as global marketing functions as needed
- Inform Marketing Manager, Compliance about unresolved issues between copy originators and reviewers to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner and changes are implemented as requested
- Ensure completed, approved submissions match final artwork
- Confirm release of copy material to copy originatorCompliance
- Ensure that copy review packs are stored in alignment with defined quality standards and documentation requirements
- Train EMEA local market Originators on Copy Clearance process (via Conference Calls and WebEx)Metrics
- Maintain Copy Clearance project log for EMEA local market submissions to track materials and process throughput (workflow goals)

- Tertiary degree (undergraduate or graduate)
- Minimum 3 years of work experience (at least 1 year of this time in a regulated environment, e.g. Pharma or Medical Devices)Desirable
- Educational background in Marketing, Communication, or Regulatory Affairs
- Has had responsibility for quality/compliance tasksKnowledgeEssential
- Fluent in EnglishDesirable
- Knowledge in at least one other European languageSkills
