Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. is seeking a Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment (CPFR) Planner with robust analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency with computer systems, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with our top customers and sales teams. The CPFR Planner will also think strategically, challenge convention, and be willing to take a leadership role within the team.
The CPFR Planner will work in partnership with top customers, as well as with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Sales, Customer Forecasting, Brand Management, and Supply Chain with a focus on improving customer forecast accuracy. Main responsibilities include forecasting, which includes base item forecasting, promotional forecasting, and event planning; replenishment; inventory analysis, to ensure proper levels are maintained and reduced where possible; and collaboration with our customers to identify areas of opportunity for greater efficiency and service improvement.
The CPFR Planner will also play a critical role in partnering with Supply Chain and Manufacturing organizations within J&J to improve national forecasts for better production planning and distribution of finished goods inventory. This individual will represent customer forecasts in the Sales & Operations Planning process, and perform forecast accuracy analysis to identify focus areas within the operating companies. This individual will have opportunities to be involved in benchmarking, attending industry conferences, and provide critical input into the strategic direction of the organization. There will also be opportunities to identify and lead improvement projects, which include integrated demand planning efforts, new technology assessments and implementations, incorporating more advanced forecasting methodologies, and logistic efficiency improvements.
The CPFR Planner will develop their analytical skills, demonstrate leadership, gain valuable customer experience, and shape the direction of how J&J forecasts and manages its inventory.
QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. Two years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement and/or Sales Operations is required. Significant experience with customer facing is preferred. MS Office proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence Tools, Training, and/or Certification is preferred. Planning experience using Demand Management software (SAP, Manugistics, etc.) is preferred. Distribution, Transportation, Category Management, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Planning, and/or Sales experience is preferred.
The ability to communicate and interact effectively across many internal departments is required. This candidate will have the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Additionally, this candidate will be able to work in an ever-changing matrix environment.
This candidate may be required to travel up to 10% domestically.
