Under supervision, and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position owns responsibility for the development, execution, and business performance of all programs designed to increase revenue and market share. This individual is responsible for the financial performance of relevant product lines as well as management and monitoring of key accounts, product trends, and initiatives. The Associate Product Director is a product expert on the assigned product line and will work closely with the US Marketing, Sales & Field Services workforce. The position is responsible for developing and managing national and local programs or initiatives that align to the US business plan and lead to achievement of annual revenue plans for the assigned product line in the US market. This individual will create and execute downstream marketing plans that increase US market share. This role researches, analyzes, and monitors US product line and SKU level financials, demand trends, customer movements, so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized. The Associate Product Director understands and anticipates customer needs. Supports field proactively with on-going customer-facing activities and field presence. Develops existing product value proposition (positioning, price, and promotion). This position collaborates with Global Educational Department, Commercial Effectiveness and Field Leadership team to develop proper training materials and ensure field proficiency. This role is responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level. The position is responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition. This individual is responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. The Associate Product Director will performs other duties assigned as needed.
QualificationsBachelor's degree will be required with a Master’s Degree (MBA) preferred. Minimum of 2 years of marketing, sales, clinical or engineering experience in a relevant industry is required. EP industry, cardiovascular, or related industry experience is preferred. Experience working with imaging or ultrasounds is preferred. Documented success in developing strategies and/or executing tactical plans in driving new products or programs required. Ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications required. Strong presentation skills required. Experience in developing and implementing yearly business plans which include defining of goals, strategies and tactics required. Proven track record of sales, marketing or technical success with strong analytical skills (Functional knowledge with Microsoft Office, financial analysis and database exposure) required. Must be strategic-minded with superior collaboration skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and verbal and written communication skills. Experience in managing partnerships or co-promotions is preferred. Selling skills with formal Selling skills training preferred. Statistical analysis experience preferred.
