About the role

As a Reward Specialist, you’ll be part of a broader Centre of Expertise across reward, policy and benefits, accountable for the operational delivery of reward propositions and BAU activity. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll play your part in developing a holistic view of our total reward proposition, enabling us to work more effectively and efficiently, make better data-led decisions, and improve the Partner experience.
In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £5.00 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
Responsibilities, Skills and Experience
Salary - £ 47,500- £72,500
Contract type - This is a permanent position
Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business.
Location- This role can be based at either Head Office, in Bracknell or Pimlico
Key Responsibilities
This role is accountable for the operational delivery of reward propositions and BAU activity.
You will lead small, discrete projects across reward, benefits and policy teams as well as supporting the delivery of medium and large BAU compensation projects and processes, including the annual pay review process.
You will have strong technical and analytical skills, including data modelling and interpretation.
You will have an understanding of reward, and will work across the Reward, Policy & Benefits team to support a broad range of compensation, benefits and pension initiatives.
You will be a subject matter expert, building the professional skills and knowledge needed for a career in reward. You will actively seek external reward insights and best practice to inform future decision-making. You will be responsible for the collation of market insight and ensuring there is up-to-date documentation of competitor practice. This will include attending forums and network events, and sharing your knowledge/findings with the team.
You will drive continuous improvement activities across the Reward, Policy & Benefits team, identifying risks and opportunities, and sharing these with the team.
You will proactively collaborate with Partners across the People function and support complex change programmes.
You will own the job levelling and pay benchmarking processes, including completing and interpreting pay and benefits surveys and constructing pay ranges.
You will support our Reward, Policy & Benefits team by completing administration activity such as maintaining accurate compensation data in Workday, and maintaining team documents.
You will oversee and make recommendations for the utilisation of our budget in relation to benchmarking, surveys and any external SME advice.
You’ll be able to work at pace with ambiguity and with high levels of resilience.
