What's the role about?

Discovering Winter Hill for the first time is like uncovering a hidden treasure. Built on fast-draining terrain, it boasts exceptional views over Cookham, the River Thames and the famous Cliveden.

Played at its longest, the course is 6,397 yards in length with a par of 72. From the ladies' tee the course is 5,761 yards, par 73. There is also a practice area and a putting green available for those wishing to brush up on their skills and two fully qualified PGA golf professionals are on hand to book lessons and give expert advice.

What you'll be doing as Greenkeeper:

·  Sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues to develop the golf club performance.
·  Demonstrating flexibility to support across other areas of the golf club when required.
·  To be a brand ambassador by being a warm and friendly Partner who provides a consistently outstanding customer experience that is unrivalled in the marketplace.
·  Delivering agreed key performance measures for your department.
·  The maintenance, care and overall appearance of the golf course.
·  Maintaining a good playing surface and ensuring the course offers a consistent challenge and enjoyable experience to golfers.

What you'll have:

·  NVQ level 2 in Greenkeeping.
·  PA1, PA2, & PA6 spraying qualification desirable.
·  Chainsaw certificate desirable.
·  Knowledge of irrigation systems desirable.
·  Experience in greenkeeping.
Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 Sports Turf
Management.
Knowledge of Machinery Maintenance is desirable
·  UK Driving licence
