The salary range for this role is set at £43,700 - £65,500. Expected salary - £43,700 - £48,000.

This position is a 12 month secondment/fixed term contract.

Please note, internally this role is known as ‘Facilities Management Service Support Manager’.

 

About the role

A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Management Service Support Manager, to join our growing Build to Rent team here at the John Lewis Partnership. In this role, you will support the Facilities Manager in ensuring that our Residential buildings are safe, legal and able to operate smoothly without business interruption, and are maintained in line with the specifications set by the Lines of Business.

In your role, you will ensure that the delivery of all Facilities Management Services (Hard and Soft Services) is in line with annual financial, operational, safety and sustainability targets to meet both Property and Line of Business/Values Stream OKRs.

Supporting the Facilities Manager on compliance actions, supplier management activities, customer service actions and escalation resolutions, you will continuously develop the successful operation of our Facilities Management Services, aiming to provide JLP with a competitive advantage.

Essential skills you’ll need 

· 
Knowledge of implementing and managing maintenance systems to best practice standards. Can shape and influence maintenance delivery

· 
A proven track record of delivering outstanding maintenance services or can demonstrate ability to do so

· 
Stakeholder management and communication skills 

Desirable

· 
RICS or IWFM (formerly BIFM) membership 

· 
Safety qualifications (NEBOSH)

· 
Experience of working client side with an outsourced service provider

· 
Experience and understanding of service contracts including output specifications and performance mechanisms

· 
Technical experience and qualifications, particularly in building services, electrical heating plumbing mechanical etc.
