At a glance

Role Title: Transport PM Shift Operator 

Position : 6 Months Fixed term contract

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 12:00 - 20:00 on rota including weekends

Duties and Responsibilities:

As Partners - members of the Partnership - it's our responsibility to ensure our success for the future. We proactively seek out opportunities to continuously improve the way we work, taking action to ensure the Partnership is efficient and we are all as productive as possible. It's an ethos each and every Partner works by and you'll carry into your own role too.

Maintaining full compliance under current EU driving regulations and the Working Time Directive. Ensuring achievement of productivity targets, agreed key customer service levels and key performance indicators within cost targets. To ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to. To ensure Partners are treated fairly and with respect. To deputise for the Transport Section Manager in their absence.

Job Requirements:
This role would suit someone who:
- Demonstrates excellent Partnership behaviours
- Is results orientated and deadline driven
- Is self motivated and proactive in approach

Manage general office and associated areas whilst ensuring good housekeeping and standards of tidiness are maintained.

Has a good degree of literacy and numeracy
Good PC skills
Is logistically minded
Works well under pressure
Has good communication skills
Ensure departmental & Partnership processes complied with.
Is reliable and punctual
Understands the basics of Health and Safety procedures

Required essential experience skills and qualifications:
Supply Chain experience Transport /Warehouse Office experience

Desirable experience skills and qualifications:
Good working knowledge of IT systems
( Email / MS office / Paragon )
National CPC qualification

Responsible for managing Partnership and agency Drivers over a 24 hours a day, 7 day a week transport operation.
