Main Responsibilities:

*Lead projects related to development of structural design and mechanisms for diverse applications in Turf and Utility products.

*Take customer needs and transform them into reliable, cost effective, safe and manufacturable design solutions at system level, using the Total Design Strategy developed for the Turf platform.

*Use statistical and system engineering tools to drive decisions related to product development at system level.

*Analysis using CAD engineering tools such as Creo Mechanism, Creo Simulate, Manikin, etc.

*Active role on design decisions related to manufacturability, definition of design specifications such as materials, thickness, geometries, engineering specs (hp, torque, rpm), definition of assemblies, weldments, etc.

*Coach engineers in processes, methodologies and skills. Develop talent.

*Create BOM structures.

*BOM structure decisions.

*Create and develop engineering drawings for prototypes and manufacturing.

*Coordinate prototype builds and participate in testing.

*Active role on decisions for design improvements and optimization based on test results.

*Implementation of product design into manufacturing/production lines.

* Support to production on topics related to product design.

*New duties and responsibilities come from the turf platform.

*New CI and EPDP projects utilizing the Total Design strategy developed within the Turf Platform.

 

What Skills You Need:

* Experience on Product Design. 3-4 Years

*Structural design, mechanism design.

*Manufacturing processes knowledge and design for manufacturing.

*Product development process experience.

*CAD software experience. 3-4 Years

*GD&T application, analysis experience.

*Advanced English communication skills, (speaking and writing), as well as technical english.

*Advanced presentation and communication skills.

*Coaching and mentoring skills.

*Driven by results.

*Proactive and innovation.

 

What Makes You Stand Out:

* Familiar with Creo software.

*Familiar with PDM/Windchill.

*Experience with System Engineering.

*Experience on plastic/Casting design.

*Experience on Six Sigma/ Design for Six Sigma Methodology.

* Ergonomics.

 

Education (or equivalent experience):

* B.S. Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautic Engineering or equivalent experience.
