Title: Insurance Coordinator - 51561
Your Responsibilities
As an Insurance Coordinator for John Deere Financial (JDF) in Johnston, Iowa, you will be responsible for communicating with customers, insurance agents, and dealers to verify insurance on retail and lease accounts financed through JDF. In addition, you will:
· Respond to inquiries from internal staff, dealers, Sentry Insurance, outside insurance agencies and customers
· Maintain accurate records and enter data into appropriate systems
· Evaluate insurance documentation provided from insurance companies to verify collateral is insured
· Support the claims process by providing relevant documentation to appropriate parties

What Skills You Need
· Ability to work effectively in a close team environment
· Strong attention to detail
· Experience in a call center environment that utilizes customer service quality standards
· Excellent business communication, both verbal and written
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Effective negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
· Ability to use various department specific computer programs
What Makes You Stand Out
· Experience working in a finance or insurance environment
· Knowledge of Accounting fundamentals, including debits/credits
· Successful experience working in a team environment
Education (or equivalent work experience)
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business / Management or equivalent experience in a customer service environment
