Junior Graphic Designer (Junior Artworker)

Job Title - Junior Graphic Designer

Salary - £9.69 p/h (rising to £11.10 p/h after 12 weeks)

Location - Weybridge, Surrey (KT13 0XP)

Contract until July 2016

Job Profile -

The Design Team is responsible for designing / delivering high quality communication and promotional material for both print and online; working in partnership with the Commercial, Customer Marketing and Education teams.

Job Role -

The Junior Graphic Designer has key responsibilities in producing attractive and effective media designs for the following platforms: Online, iPad, Consumer / Trade magazine titles, Print.

Examples of media developed:

iPad based monthly sales material for the sales force
Support material for Education
Promotional and support items for events
Bespoke items for Key Customers based on initiative launches
Other Responsibilities:
Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
Supporting the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects by providing creative input and production of elements for a variety of touch points

Candidate -

Graduate in Graphic Design or related discipline.
Knowledge and experience in using: InDesign CC, Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC.
Knowledge / experience in the following languages would be preferable: Flash, HTML, and CSS
An understanding of typography, layout and art direction
Strong knowledge of leading design software packages
A creative flair and passion for design and an exceptional eye for detail
Some creative industry experience is beneficial
