JLL is looking for a UI/UX Designer to bring eye catching visuals to Business Intelligence related products.  This role will be responsible for all design requirements towards interactive Dashboards or report outputs as well as new team initiatives. This person must have 10+ years of recent experience in UX or Interactive Design.  This person will be a well-rounded design thinker, grounded in logic, structure and process; and be an advocate for the user and possess a passion for visual and emotional solutions that are both usable and desirable. This person will become part of an Agile Business Intelligence team working closely with the technical lead and business analysts and interfacing with multiple teams to showcase their work story through design. The right person will have a results and performance driven attitude with strong sense of accountability.  

Responsibilities

·  Design and map the experience using journey maps; create sketches, prototypes, wireframes, screen-flow diagrams & UI specs for testing and development
·  Collaborate with the project team (other UX, Product Owners, BAs, developers, testers) to flesh out concepts and quickly build prototypes to socialize with key stakeholders
·  Consider all information hierarchy and overall experience when mapping out BI flows and recommending what is optimal
·  Present and articulate your design decisions based on design thinking methodologies and fundamental UX principles
·  Transition between various digital channels including web, mobile web and mobile app
·  Adhere to a flow/cadence for work turnaround that will have to be established and agreed upon by the UI/UX designer, Team Lead & COE stakeholder

Purpose of the Role

·  Mature designs to various analytics products which are consumed by internal JLL teams
·  Help stakeholders make smart decisions to their infrastructure lens based on your designs
·  Bring clarity, creativeness and crispness to complex data through UI/UX design
·  Connect our program with other UI/UX design related teams and groups to share common challenges and best practices
·  Support AM, APAC and EMEA regions
·  Work under the direction of the Technical Lead and regular one on one meetings

Experience & Education

·  10+ years in UX or Interaction Design
·  Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field
·  Excellent understanding of HTML & CSS
·  Proficiency using Sketch, Axure, Invision, Zeplin, Adobe CS, Proto.io
·  Excellent Understanding of web accessibility guidelines
·  Experience designing for mobile app and responsive web

Technical Skills & Competencies

·  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
·  Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills
·  Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules
·  Demonstrated ability to define new approaches to complex design problems
·  Create and save design artifacts into the teams designated locations (BI SharePoint/document, code repository)
·  Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Leading product discovery and inception workshops as teams determine future needs
·  Effectively communicate project status to management team on a regular basis
·  Have excellent problem-solving skills utilizing both internal and external resources to get the job done.  Work through issues and challenges
·  Self-starter and motivator and ability to work in team and solo
·  Flexibility in working during America time zone - Evening shift (2pm-11pm) in Bangalore
·  Ability to be accessible online to the team (Skype, Microsoft Teams) during their shift and able to attend key Sprint related ceremonies and use video conferencing from time to time
