Role Purpose

UK Research is seeking an Analyst to work in the Living Research team based in our West End office. If you’re a talented researcher with a first-rate knowledge of residential or commercial property, join our growing team and help to define our business as the number one global property advisor in the industry. Living is one of JLL’s biggest areas of growth and this is your opportunity to be an important part of the research team that is driving the business forward.

As a Research Analyst in the Living Research team, you will collate and analyse information and data, prepare presentations, assist with publications and client reports and provide research support across the whole of the Living business. You will also keep a close eye on industry changes and, in particular, innovations that could keep us one step ahead of others.

Of graduate calibre, ideally with proven experience in a similar role, but not essential, you’ll have a genuine interest in residential property and the housing market. You will be numerate, analytical, have an eye for detail and have strong report writing skills.

What this job involves

· 
Collect, collate and analyse data from a wide variety of sources for the benefit of the Living Research team and the wider Living business.

· 
Maintain various data items and slidedecks to help in the efficient running of the Living Research team.

· 
Write reports on housing and rental markets on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis for the use of the Living business.

· 
Write publications on both a regular and ad-hoc basis.

· 
Support the business by collating and analysing data to support pitches and client reports for a variety of residential business lines.

· 
Provide analysis and writing support for research consultancy work.

An interest in and understanding of property markets and property research.

· 
Analytical, comfortable with data, numbers and spreadsheets.

· 
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

· 
Organised with ability to work to deadlines.

· 
Able to use own initiative and to work within a team.

Desirable

· 
Previous experience in residential research desirable, any property research experience an advantage
