Analyst, Product Market Intelligence

This is a new role and capability to be established at JLL. The Analyst, Product Market Intelligence will work closely with the product market intelligence director and the product team to build a programmatic approach to market research and sizing, bringing process, tools and your experience to JLL to establish these capabilities.  This role will be focused on executing the team’s core capability of devising market size, share and growth estimates, competitor analysis and market assessments for the products in our portfolio.

Responsibilities

What this job involves:

·  Reports to Director, Product Market Intelligence

·  Seeks out and apply world class methodologies, approaches, and technologies to support the organization with timely market sizing, competitive intelligence and opportunity assessments

·  Utilizes statistical analysis and sizing methodologies to define the total available market and addressable market for JLL Corporate Solutions at the global enterprise level and at the Product and Product Group level with means to assess by geography, industry and segment
·  Derives market share estimates for JLL and competitors across the CS product portfolio
·  Sources and manages internal and external pieces of market research and assembles them to provide a cohesive point of view and insight into market size, trends and opportunities

·  Builds and maintains strong partnerships across our enterprise to leverage data and analytical expertise
·  Analyses large datasets to develop segmentation models through data modelling and analysis to uncover customer insights and prioritize target segments by buying group and willingness to pay
·  Supports Product Management with assessment of market size and opportunity for JLL with respect to new products entering the pipeline and potential adjacencies

The Requirements

Ideal candidate should have:

·  BS or BA degree; MBA a plus
·  Minimum three years of professional experience, ideally in market research or consulting/professional services; real estate experience a plus but not essential
·  Strong quantitative skills and comfort, including experience with modelling
·  Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills - ability to interpret and synthesize large amounts of data from multiple sources into meaningful, action-oriented recommendations
·  Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
·  Demonstrable experience in creating clarity from ambiguity
·  Exceptional communication skills; comfort working with large, geographically dispersed group of stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
·  Self-motivated and organized to successfully complete work projects.
·  Able to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously and maintain high quality deliverables
