Pest Control Technician

Job description

Responsibilities

·  Performance of ongoing quality review of third party pest control vendor.
·  Perform assigned facility pest control operations inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
·  Ensures that all GxP documentation and inspections are performed in accordance with all applicable SOPs.
·  Able to perform light maintenance in support of pest control operations (install door seals, seal penetrations, caulking, etc.).
·  Compile and analyze pest control related data and information to understand overall success of the program.
·  Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.
·  Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing full gowning uniform
·  Completes other various duties related to Painting, Carpentry, Flooring, Cabinetry, and related tasks, under the direction of the supervisor and/or designee.
·  Uses various wall covering techniques and remedies to complete project.
·  Removes furniture, equipment, shelving, fixtures, etc. from work area.  Installs and/or repairs drywall and plaster.  Applies corner beads, tapes, patches, sands, strips, washes and primes surfaces, returns areas to working order when project is completed.
·  Inspects various damaged surfaces (e.g., plaster, drywall, water-damaged areas, ceiling and wall cracks) for remodeling.
·  Must use tools and equipment appropriately while contributing to a safe working environment.
·  Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Administrative

·  Update work order status in real time
·  Utilize CMMS systems such as Maximo for all work performed.
·  Escalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely manner
·  Attend work and safety meetings as required

Other

·  Any and all other duties and tasks assigned. May be required do work weekends as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education/training

·  Associated Degree or equivalent minimum
·  Have a minimum of 1- 3 years of applicable working experience in a pharmaceutical industry preferable related with Pest Control service
·  EXCEL , WORD, POWER POINT, MAXIMO

Other abilities

·  Able to communicate pest control requirements and processes 
·  Strong Customer Service skills
·  Strong Interpersonal skills
