Position Overview

JLL PDS is seeking a Marketing Associate / Proposal Writer to join the Project & Development Services (PDS) Team. The Associate will be responsible for supporting the Commissioning & Building Analytics (CBA) Department for all marketing activities to build the brand / reputation for JLL’s PDS platforms across Canada. In particular, the Associate will help expedite proposals to help garner to new clientele and business opportunities.

The individual in this role will report directly to the CBA Senior Vice President and work with the PDS Senior National Marketing Associate (SNMA) to support the achievement of the highest standards of creativity and design for various CBA pursuits and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Key Elements and Essential Tasks

·  Assist and collaborate with the SVP & SNMA to develop communication tools and collateral for various pursuits, proposals, research, marketing materials, and presentations.
·  Formulate, organize, and update content within a library that will be used for various marketing projects. This includes updating resumes, case studies, marketing brochures, and proposal templates.
·  Conduct market research to identify prospects within the industry.
·  Support and assist on-going business development efforts, which includes proposals and presentations.
·  Contribute to overall improvement and communication of internal / team-related business awareness.
·  Report to SVP and SNMA on current tasks and update them on a regular basis.
·  Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and / or Graphic Communication or related field, or equivalent work experience.
·  Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in a business environment.
·  Ability to write clearly and affectively for business pursuits. Prior experience in preparing business proposals is an asset.
·  Ability to create / develop creative collateral to support business pursuits, marketing initiatives (print and digital), and presentations.
·  Possess a blend of creative vision, technical skills, hands-on experience, and strategic knowledge.
·  Strong understanding and proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
·  Intermediate understanding and proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) is an asset.
·  Strong organization skills to track data / information, update templates, standards, and materials.
·  Work effectively within a team environment, yet have the ability to take initiative and work independently.
·  Enjoys learning and is adaptable to various asks.
