Job description
We are seeking a creative, energetic, and motivated team member to drive the development and execution of best in class marketing deliverables for JLL and our clients in the Houston office. The ideal candidate has that rare blend of strategic marketing acumen: a strong foundation in graphic design, open communication, ability to juggle multiple projects, sharp attention to detail, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where creative and proactive solutions are celebrated and rewarded. Our new marketer should have commercial real estate experience or an eagerness to learn.
Essential Functions
· Collaborate with multiple business lines professionals to create strategy and design for high quality business development and marketing tools
· Design various materials (both custom and JLL branded) for both occupier and property marketing teams including brochures, email campaigns, environmental graphics, pitch materials, research reports, tour collateral, maps and presentation graphics
· Strategize and design multiple projects at one time, ensuring that all stakeholders are regularly updated on progress
· Organize, manage, and execute on objectives with minimal oversight, a strong attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and with appropriate timeliness
· Partner with local marketing team to continually seek ways to increase efficiency and complete tasks
· Identify opportunities to bring creativity and innovation to existing marketing practices and materials
· Keep up-to-date on current design methodologies and marketing trends, as well as current social media and technologies
· Work in a dynamic team environment, and build and execute on multi-channel marketing plans clients
· Effective communication skills to set realistic expectations with all stakeholders, driving all marketing projects to a successful completion
· Build strong relationships across JLL’s organization to leverage its extensive marketing and creative resources, research teams, brokerage administrative staff, and business unit leadership across the national JLL platform
· Liase with external suppliers and vendors providing direction for desired outcome
· Assist with internal and external events and activities as assigned
Requirements
· Strong graphic design portfolio and completion of design assessment
· Intermediate level Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator a priority)
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or graphic design
· Technical skills required to produce designs for print-ready and digital platforms
· Pro-active, personable and a team player with the confidence to inspire and support colleagues throughout the business
· Passion for what you do and a drive to educate your stakeholders on the power of marketing
· Assertive, creative work style and friendly, positive demeanor
· Motivation to meet deadlines and available to work outside of business hours when needed (sometimes with no advanced notice)
· Understanding of and commitment to client service
· Can-do attitude
· Attention to detail
· Ability to juggle multiple projects
