The Opportunity
The Corporate Solutions business provides real estate and workplace strategy, services and technology to corporates and public institutions globally. We provide a holistic approach to managing activities across the entire real estate life cycle (Portfolio, Capital and Operations). In addition, we ensure the technology, data and analytics drive business insights and decisions for our clients and the industry. Our goal is to enable our clients’ businesses and drive value for their enterprises.
We service 500+ accounts globally through a highly talented and diverse workforce of 35,000 colleagues. We annually generate $1.3B in net fee revenue, and $9.0B in GAAP revenue (2017). Our long-term goal to 2025, is to double the revenue of our business at increased margins.

The Role
JLL’s Global Product Management group is seeking a versatile Global Product Owner to specifically lead in Energy and Sustainability , who will play a critical role in developing best-in-class approaches for managing a portfolio of global products. As JLL increases its focus on technology and product management, the product team is focused on defining and building a product management process to streamline and simplify product/service offerings, increase product adoption with existing accounts, focus investment efforts in high-growth opportunities, minimize wasted product spend and increase portfolio profitability.
The Responsibilities
What this job involves:
This position requires a talented general manager of a product whose skillset balances a customer obsessed and analytical mindset. This individual will:
· Work closely with the Product Group Manager to develop and present financial product business cases according to set standards
· Have responsibility for profitability of product/s managed, includes P&L accountability on a per product basis with an emphasis on product pricing
· Make recommendations for new, innovative operating models based on market intelligence, the competitive landscape and technology trends
· Remain current on industry/market technology trends and market sizing and segmentation to ensure that we are optimizing revenue and profitability
· Develop deep market expertise and understanding for their assigned products and offerings with clear articulation of user personas and behaviors leveraging a Human centered design approach
· Assess and ensure strength of the portfolio against competitive offerings
· Build and lead product teams through the product development process, including development of the product roadmap, generating product requirements, specifications, timetables, and pricing
· In partnership with product development and service delivery teams, assess and make a recommendation on buy, build or partner development strategies
· Work closely with engineering teams to manage the delivery of product on budget and within defined schedule
· Review various fee and pricing options and select a pricing strategy based on profitability
· In collaboration with product marketing, design and develop customer feedback loop
· Represent the product team at internal and external JLL events and conferences
· Create and drive the path to measuring products under management on a regular cadence to ensure product mix and lifecycle health
· Develop plans to ensure overall health of the portfolio (i.e. maintain, update, reprice, replace, sunset, etc.)
· Lead efficient use of Product Team resources to determine Analytical, Experience Design, and Performance Support needs as key metrics of product success
· Determine the need for, create and deliver execution plan for a standard Customer Service Program
Product Overview
Energy
Create an extremely deep and far-forward position of future technology and practical application in determining what a long product lifecycle of energy and resource deployment will look like. Build expertise in a wide range of resource efforts in technology, innovation, distribution, long lead investments, community, conservation, financial modeling, commodity and supply management, political geographical impact, risk mitigation, etc.
· Demonstrating JLL’s track record of success, particularly for client where energy is not in-scope. Seek to change the discussion and show how this should be treated as a core scope item, not an add on.
· Improve internal understanding of sales process, risks, benefits, etc. Helping internal teams have greater confidence to sell these services and challenge client inactivity
· Articulate a deep understanding of energy cost drivers
· Show expertise in complex utility procurement, understanding local regulation and commodity markets, making costs hard to predict over the long term.
· Create client capital plans to address inefficient buildings
Sustainability
Create an enterprise global strategy for core sustainability while creating regional product opportunities in addition to the core. Understand environmental, social and corporate impact for both JLL and the client community. Create delivery capabilities which are scalable, create a strong message, and show customer value through willingness to pay. Determine KPIs and tools for measure while understanding all regulatory benchmarking and points of reference or legislation while leveraging technology.

Expertise Required
Ideal candidate should have:
· Experience working on global projects across a matrixed environment
· ‘Achiever’ mentality – independent, self-performer with the ability to rapidly complete project initiatives and attain a multitude of team goals simultaneously and autonomously
· Strong product management capabilities with demonstrated experience in driving a host of initiatives at once, managing budgets, team resources and project timetables
· Execution skills in coaching product teams through design / launch and redesign
· Articulate and effective communicator, comfortable presenting to large groups and senior executives
· Proven ability to connect with customers and users to identify needs and translate to differentiated products and offerings that deliver willingness to pay
· An ability to tell a story around innovation, find opportunity based on customer needs, and deliver innovation efforts leading to change
· Strong experience with data management, especially to drive accuracy and inform senior leaders for decision making purposes
· Strategic thinker with an emphasis on business strategy and the ability to identify solutions to business challenges
· Comfortable with ambiguity and constant change in direction/focus, experience leading through transformation
· Ability to cut down the complexity and work towards a simple solution and fast approach
· Experience working in autonomous role
· 10 years in product management

· Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work at a fast pace
· Strong aptitude in defining the customer(s) and creating a global mindset to deliver across segmentation
