BIRT/Report Developer (Associate - Technology Solutions)

Job description

Duties & responsibilities

·  Preference to candidates with knowledge/ experience in BIRT (Eclipse- Neon, Kepler).
·  Responsible to develop BIRT reports using different databases (DB2, SQL Server and Oracle).
·  Manipulate reports through scripting and charts using chart scripting to drill through between different reports.
·  Experience in Database optimization (Performance Tuning, Query Optimization) and developing stored procedures, Triggers, Cursors, Joins and Views.
·  Responsible for the implementation of customization within the TRIRIGA application platform and Good to have knowledge of IBM TRIRIGA disclosure reports.
·  Trouble shoot and provide resolution to production and non- production issue by fixing performance issues.
·  TRIRIGA Functional Knowledge (RE Lease ,Capital Project, Space Management Etc.)
·  Conduct BIRT Training.
·  Knowledge on IBM Cognos, IBM Watson Analytics, Crystal Reports.
·  Ability to operate independently.
·  Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
·  Good communication abilities for interaction with clients.

Performance objectives

Understand the customers’ requirements and existing system, coordinate with Business analyst/Technical lead who designed the customer‘s application and implement the customized solution.

Key skills

·  BIRT Report Development using Eclipse- Neon, Kepler.
·  Databases Knowledge (DB2, SQL Server and Oracle).
·  Database Tools (IBM data studio, SQL developer, MS SQL Server management studio).
·  IBM TRIRIGA Functional Knowledge.

·  BE / MCA
·  3-5 years of BIRT report developer experience.
