What this job involves:
We are looking for an Assistant Valuer to work with our Alternative Investments – Australia team based in our Brisbane office. Alternative Investments is a national team responsible for transactions, valuations & advisory across sectors including Aged Care, Retirement Living, Healthcare, Student Accommodation, Co-Living, Build-to-Rent, Data Centres, Self-Storage & Renewable Energy. You will be supporting an active team of agents, valuers and consultants where you will provide hands-on support across a range of valuation functions.
Specific duties will include:
· Provision of timely, accurate valuations under supervision, to support the pitching and delivery of client transactions.
· Undertaking data verification and audit
· Compiling and verifying market evidence for reports
· Prepare, edit and modify computer cash flow models
· Provide direct assistance as required to enable Valuations team to effectively undertake its functions
· Attend client functions and seminars; and
· Leverage research capacity by circulating relevant market data and sales analysis

You will have completed or near completed your property related tertiary studies and be eligible to register as, or already be, a Certified Practising Valuer. Strong written, verbal communication and analytical skills are sought after, as is a willingness to learn and have an enquiring mind. Attention to detail, team orientated and a flexible attitude will ensure your success in the role.
