Duties & responsibilities

·  Responsible for Duty Free custom clearance of product and spares with support of customs brokers
·  Will ensure the import check list is filed as per import invoice
·  Will have to ensure smooth duty free clearance without demurrage
·  Compliance of the STPI, SEZ and Foreign Trade Policy
·  Knowledge on FTP, Customs Act, Central Excise Act, EOU, SEZ and Tariff Act.  
·  Knowledge on Export and Import Regulation
·  Knowledge on LOP, LUT, IEC, PBW, Green Card and Status Certificate etc
·  Knowledge on B- 17 Bond, Bank Guarantee and BLUT 
·  Knowledge on Bonding of Imported & DTA procured duty free materials
·  Will be responsible for processing CHA Service Bill for payment
·  Will be responsible for proper documentation and record keeping
·  Expert in Import / Re-export Custom Clearance. Should be able to handle customs documentation independently.
·  Should have experience in handling High Seas Sale transactions
·  Knowledge and Experience in IT equipment’s imports is a must
·  Should have knowledge of Goods and Services Taxation (GST)
·  Knowledge of Product classification in customs systems; Inco terms; invoicing is a must
·  Should be willing to multitask and should be able to handle work pressure.
·  Should work on PAN India initiatives related to STPI, SEZ, Customs
·  Should work on PAN India STPI and SEZ Compliance activities. 
·  Should have good expertise in Microsoft outlook; Word; Excel; Power Point etc.

He will have handle the SEZ officer with his expertise in SEZ & STP rule
