Artist Booking Agent Internship

Job description

JEMIO is a MOBO Award Nominee, Singer-Songwriter, with an online fan base of 22,000 subscribers and 8 million video views.

This role is at the heart of her artist development and career building activity, responsible for researching and identifying gig opportunities, building relationships with promoters and venues and managing bookings. Travel will be covered for any gigs or meetings. This is a commission based role.

As a Booking Agent you will be responsible for:

- Researching relevant gig and festival opportunities
- Building relationships and pitching to with relevant promoters and venues
- Follow up on potential opportunities
- Managing live performance logistics
- Devising strategies to help build artist exposure on the live circuit
- Meeting weekly booking targets

Qualities needed to be a success within this role;

- Enthusiastic, personable, genuine and hardworking.
- Ability to work unsupervised to hit deadlines and meet targets
- An entrepreneurial spirit a passion to succeed within the music industry
- You must be London based and able to travel if need be for client meetings or attend gigs
- You will need your own Laptop to work from and a Mobile Telephone.
- Must be available to work 10 hours a week, at a 20% commission rate for all paid gigs secured.
