Job description

SOUTH LONDON (SE15)

Work for one of the UK's leading specialist designers of seasonal decorations and urban art projects.

We are currently searching for Event Project Managers/Assistants with a wide range of skills to join our busy team (ideally with a creative background in theatre or similar field.) The role will require a mix of hands on creative skills and project notation/administration. The successful candidate will work as part of a team from concept development through the full cycle production process and at night installations.

Essential skills/experience


  • Hands-on creative skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Client liaison

  • Project team management and support

  • Sub-contractor liaison and management

  • Deadline planning and administration

  • Budget preparation and monitoring

  • Venue site visits & reporting

  • On-site management

  • Software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT


Desirable skills/experience


  • Exhibition work

  • H & S Risk Assessment

  • Software: Adobe creative suite, AutoCAD



  • A full, clean UK driving license

  • Prince 2 or Project Management training


This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. However, the position is not a traditional '9-5’ job and in turn applicants must be flexible and a strong team player. Events are held at locations across the UK (mainly October-December) and the ability to travel and stay overnight on occasions, is prerequisite.

The rate will be £80 - £120 a day. This is a freelance position so an UTR is required or be prepared to register self-employed.
