WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Marketing, Sales and Service (MS&S) teams are responsible for all customer-facing activities, from developing and maintaining the dealer network to managing importers and export partners. Their responsibilities continue through to global sales planning and supply of vehicles to markets, the sales process to customers, and all global customer service and aftersales activities. Product Marketing is responsible for ensuring that the voice of the market is reflected in the product creation and in-cycle management process for current and future car lines. In addition to supporting the launch process, the team also manages the strategic whole-life plan of each model, product content and pricing. 

The role of the Product Analyst is a crucial and high-profile one, and as such it will you to represent the Marketing, Sales and Service function in proactively driving the business. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure the customer, brand and business needs are appropriately balanced, leading to business success.

In your role, you’ll support the Product Manager in the preparation of marketing input to Programme Gateways, Launch Management Meetings (LMMs) and other cross-functional meetings as well as attending Launch Planning Operation Meetings (LPOMs), Launch Planning Meetings (LPMs), Programme Steering Teams (PST), Pre-Vehicle Build Reviews (PVBR) and other meetings as required.  You’ll support Product, Price, Volume and Mix Reviews (PPVMRs), including preparation of presentations and analysis of data and will coordinate market requests for product changes and progress with the Programme team. You’ll also maintain vehicle specification documents including OXO charts and authority-to-change documents. Additionally, you’ll support the launch-planning process including the creation of product briefs and management of the pre-production vehicle fleet for Marketing and Sales.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

To be successful in this role, you'll be a results-driven individual demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance as well as the ability to deliver in a complex, highly demanding environment. Also a self-starter requiring minimum supervision, you’ll work with a high level of attention to detail and be able to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build beneficial business relationships will also be required.

In addition to possessing strong communication and stakeholder management skills, you’ll be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. You’ll also hold a full UK/EU driving licence and will have previous experience as a Subject Matter Expert. Having previous experience of working within the automotive sector would prove advantageous.
