WHAT TO EXPECT

Within the Quality Assurance team, the primary objective is to drive and enable quality improvements throughout the business.

The World-Class Product Audit (WCPA) department is an independent and impartial cross-plant and cross-model team who carry out auditing of the company’s products to ascertain the quality levels produced. As a WCPA Supervisor, you’ll join a team who act as “the eyes of the customer” and as a point of contact for WCPA Audit team within Quality Operations.

In your role, you’ll take overall responsibility for Current Model, who audit the current production vehicles to meet a minimum weekly sample and feedback the issues to the Plant on a daily basis, and Forward Model, who audit new models from E-cube through the various build stages until it becomes Current Manufacturing at Job1.

As a WCPA Supervisor, you’ll also supervise the WCPA team in the daily audit of Production and New Model vehicles in line with the current WCPA procedures in order to identify product concerns at the assembly plants. You’ll follow standard operating procedures, interpret Engineering Standards, and apply them to audits and vehicles whilst also ensuring all departmental processes and procedures are in place, up to date, and working within the Manufacturing Quality Operating System (MQOS) standards.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For your role as a WCPA Supervisor, you’ll be flexible with regard to working hours and working away at other plants where business needs dictate. You’ll come from a strong manufacturing quality background, be confident with reporting and presenting to higher management, and have a record of working extensively as part of a team. Having previously worked within a Quality role, you’ll possess knowledge of the manufacturing quality process and procedures as well as a clear understanding of the relationship between Quality Operations, Plant Quality, and Manufacturing. Your ability to work to tight schedules and under pressure will also be of importance, and you’ll hold a full, clean driving licence.
