In your role as Voice of Customer Engineer you’ll be part of the Quality engineering team which is a key driver of ‘Voice of the Customer’ and Quality into the creation of new features and technology projects. 
You’ll drive decisions on the definition of customer requirements for new technologies through the collection of data, and analysing customer feedback through both internal and external sources. Working collaboratively with our teams you’ll ensure customer needs are identified and embed in the early definition of new technologies, in support of our advanced programmes in order to exceed our customers’ expectations.
In this role you’ll also:
●    Deliver Failure Mode Avoidance activities for new features and ensure that all resulting gaps from these are shown in the customer requirements
●    Maintain and improve Quality Voice of Customer (QVoC) FMA documentation.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
As a skilled engineer, you’ll have previous experience within a product development function with a proven ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues. You’ll have good communication skills as you’ll need to influence and feel comfortable challenging existing thinking, be a proactive team player, happy to be hands-on and able to build cross-functional relationships. Determined and highly driven you’ll be able to deliver results under pressure. 
A degree in a relevant discipline and industry experience is essential, alongside a passion for the automotive industry and new technologies.
You’ll also have:
●    Strong project management experience
●    Previous experience within marketing or research departments with good working knowledge of Product Delivery System (or similar process).
